S. M. Cook
S.M. Cook is a writer of fiction and poetry. Poetry was her first love, and she began writing poems at around 6 years old. Her first real exposure to poems was Shel Silverstein, and at 12 years old, she discovered Jack Prelutsky and Edgar Allen Poe. Those two poets influenced a lot of her early poems, with slight dark and strange images. However, it was Stephen King who influenced her more recent style of poetry, because of the 2 lines of poetry that appeared in the Dark Tower: The Gunslinger. She has been published in magazines and anthologies, with a trilogy of poems recently published in The Dark Sire Literary Magazine. S.M. Cook has just signed with The Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency and is currently working on her book series, Kyuuketsuki. Her interests vary and include Japanese literature and poetry, fantasy, gothic and vampiric works. |
